The Athens International Music Festival returns for its second edition: five evenings of world-class chamber music at the historic Parnassos Literary Society, in the heart of Athens. Joined by the legendary Pinchas Zukerman, internationally acclaimed soloists come together for concerts, pre-concert talks, public masterclasses and educational activities. Under the artistic direction of violinists Asi Matathias and Tosca Opdam, with Spyros Terzis as Executive Director, the Festival invites you to experience music as a dialogue between places, generations and people.Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Μουσικής Αθηνών επιστρέφει για δεύτερη χρονιά: πέντε βραδιές μουσικής δωματίου υψηλού επιπέδου στον ιστορικό Φιλολογικό Σύλλογο Παρνασσός, στην καρδιά της Αθήνας. Με τη συμμετοχή του θρυλικού Pinchas Zukerman, διεθνώς καταξιωμένοι σολίστ συναντώνται σε συναυλίες, ομιλίες, ανοιχτά masterclasses και εκπαιδευτικές δράσεις. Υπό την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση των βιολονιστών Asi Matathias και Tosca Opdam και με εκτελεστικό διευθυντή τον Σπύρο Τερζή, το Φεστιβάλ σας προσκαλεί να ζήσετε τη μουσική ως διάλογο ανάμεσα σε τόπους, γενιές και ανθρώπους.

Step inside the working process of great musicians. On three mornings of the Festival, Asi Matathias, Tosca Opdam and Pinchas Zukerman each give a public violin masterclass to five outstanding young violinists selected for the Festival's Young Artist Masterclass Program. From your seat in the hall you can follow how a phrase is shaped, a sound is refined and an interpretation takes form: a rare insight into the artistry and dedication behind every performance. Admission is free for holders of a ticket to any concert of the 2026 Festival. Simply show your ticket at the entrance. Music students and schools may also attend by registering in advance at athensmusfestival@gmail.com. Seating is unreserved and subject to priority and availability.Γνωρίστε από κοντά τον τρόπο που δουλεύουν οι μεγάλοι μουσικοί. Σε τρία πρωινά του Φεστιβάλ, οι Asi Matathias, Tosca Opdam και Pinchas Zukerman παραδίδουν από ένα ανοιχτό masterclass βιολιού σε πέντε διακεκριμένους νέους βιολονίστες, που έχουν επιλεγεί για το Πρόγραμμα Masterclass Νέων Καλλιτεχνών του Φεστιβάλ. Από τη θέση σας στην αίθουσα παρακολουθείτε πώς πλάθεται μια φράση, πώς δουλεύεται ο ήχος και πώς παίρνει μορφή μια ερμηνεία: μια σπάνια ματιά στην τέχνη και την αφοσίωση που κρύβονται πίσω από κάθε συναυλία. Η είσοδος είναι ελεύθερη για τους κατόχους εισιτηρίου οποιασδήποτε συναυλίας του Φεστιβάλ 2026, με την επίδειξη του εισιτηρίου στην είσοδο. Οι σπουδαστές ωδείων και μαθητές σχολείων μπορούν επίσης να παρακολουθήσουν, με δήλωση συμμετοχής στο athensmusfestival@gmail.com. Οι θέσεις δεν είναι αριθμημένες και η είσοδος γίνεται με σειρά προτεραιότητας και εφόσον υπάρχουν διαθέσιμες θέσεις.

The Athens International Music Festival’s Young Artist Masterclass Program is a prestigious and immersive opportunity created for a new generation of violinists who are ready to move beyond the practice room and into the world of professional performance.
This intensive program is designed for highly dedicated, technically accomplished young artists who are eager to refine their craft, deepen their musical voice, and gain the tools necessary for building a sustainable, international career in music.

A Beacon of cultural prestige in Athens Ένας φάρος Πολιτισμού στην Αθήνα
The Parnassos Literary Society Mansion was established in 1865 and has since been one of the most prestigious venues for concerts, lectures and various cultural events. Today, the mansion stands as a preserved historic building, officially designated as a cultural monument. The Central Hall is renowned for its exceptional acoustics and it was electrified immediately after the Hellenic Parliament, making it one of the earliest buildings in Greece to receive electric lighting. Over the years, distinguished figures such as Pierre de Coubertin, Arthur Evans, Georges Clemenceau, Winston Churchill, and Eleftherios Venizelos have delivered speeches from its esteemed stage. Το Μέγαρο του Φιλολογικού Συλλόγου «Παρνασσός» ιδρύθηκε το 1865 και έκτοτε αποτελεί έναν από τους πιο διάσημους χώρους για συναυλίες, διαλέξεις και διάφορες πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις. Σήμερα, το μέγαρο στέκει ως διατηρητέο ιστορικό κτίριο, επίσημα χαρακτηρισμένο ως πολιτιστικό μνημείο. Η Κεντρική Αίθουσα είναι γνωστή για την εξαιρετική ακουστική της και ηλεκτροδοτήθηκε αμέσως μετά τη Βουλή των Ελλήνων, καθιστώντας την ένα από τα πρώτα κτίρια στην Ελλάδα που έλαβε ηλεκτρικό φωτισμό. Με την πάροδο των ετών, διακεκριμένες προσωπικότητες όπως ο Πιερ ντε Κουμπερτέν, ο Άρθουρ Έβανς, ο Ζωρζ Κλεμανσό, ο Ουίνστον Τσόρτσιλ και ο Ελευθέριος Βενιζέλος έχουν εκφωνήσει λόγους από το βήμα της κεντρικής αίθουσας.
Named after the mountain dedicated to Apollon and the Muses, Parnassos Literary Society — one of the oldest cultural institutions in Greece —established this mansion not merely as a venue, but as a sanctuary for the arts, where music, literature, and scholarship converge in harmony.
